Is it true that Mr Blakely is leaving? Oh no. I remember him, at the time though he wasn’t head teacher. I remember sitting in a circle singing ‘she'll be coming round the mountains’ used to really enjoy it. Mr Blakely was a fantastic teacher as were other such as Mr Sibeth and Miss Spencer later known as Mrs Sibeth.

This school is so much better than the school i'm at now in malaysia. I miss all my other friends there!!! Hope u remember me. Say hi to all the teachers. etc; Mrs Arkell, Mr Blakely, Mrs Curtis and more!!!

Well what can I say this school is the best it couldn't get any better. Last week at MPPS then its secondary school just like to say thanks to everyone who's helped me through my time here. Stumbled upon your website and was somewhat shaken to see the class photo taken in 1952 which was a year after I left! Still remember some of my times there though. Since leaving I served for a long time in the RN (submarine service), leaving as a Lieutenant Commander. Retired to France now so don't have many trips back to my home town. Perhaps next time I will come in and say 'hello'. Do you still have the old boards that identified those that went onto 'grammar school'?

All the teaches r fab exspecialy miss curtis,Mrs fish,mr fisher,mrs corbin and miss price !!!
when I broke my ankle miss price was so kind she helped me a lot to get around and even went to alot of trouble to get my phone number and ring me to see how i was it was so inbarrising though that mr dashwood (who's now left) he carried me from the playground though years 3 base assembly!

im now in year nine and it is incredablly boring cause the SATS are coming up just like the yr 6's! make the most of your primary school life cause i wish i did! when you get into secondary school everyone says it is scary but trust me you will get on just great! the biggest thing to watch out for is losing track of homework! honestly, these teachers dont understand us, we do have homework in other subjects you know!

Oh my gosh I just cant get over the fact that there are still loads of great teachers that were there was as was small. It's great to hear that Mrs Clark, Mrs Pounder, Mrs Marsh and Mrs Jabbari are still at mpps. They are all really nice people that are always there for you! So keep up th good work!!

hi every1 its me again i am just wondering if you do work experience at your school i did go here and wow i am so upset i had to leave but trust me if anyone wants a decent primary school then come to this one. i miss coming here but time does fly past when you are having fun. anyway t would be nice if i spoke or actually got to see some of my old friends and teachers.

Congratulations to all at the school for the great achievements I am proud to live near such a school.

All three of my children have been to this school. Dalwyn is now nearly 18, but is still in touch with friends he made at Malmesbury Park. Reece, nearly 13 was completely prepared for Portchester after attending MP. Shannon is due to leave this summer and I'm sure she'll miss everyone teachers and pupils alike.

Hi i just wanted to say this school was a great school reall good and mr dashwood is great. I want ther to be a malmsbury park upper put that in mind its a great idea lol cyas.

My two girls have been at the school for nearly 2 years now (having moved from the midlands). I can honestly say it is the best school I have known for them, and they have both come on in leaps and bounds since being there. (plus it helps that they say their teachers are the greatest!!) so nice one Ms Kolbucaj and Ms Hagen!

hi im jonathon kerslake and i went to the school for 3 years but i left in year 2 the year of this was around 1996 to 1999and i think the school has realy made a big improvement since i was there, I now go to portchester and am in year 7 and I think the school is great - well it certaintly was when i went there

to yr 6 dnt worry about going to your secondary school the first months a blur but then you get into a routine. I hope most of the gals come to AVONBOURNE and most of the boys Porchester have a great yr

Sort of stumbled on this website and wow how the school has changed with its flashy ICT room. All a bit hi-tech eh?! Anyways, I left mpps in 2000 and it seems most of my old teachers have gone. Theres only Mr West who taught me when I was in yr 5 (that was a good year...he was hilarious!). But, it was a great school and everyone enjoy it...the time flies by way too quickly trust me (it goes even faster once you hit secondary school too!) But this is a school you can't forget! :)

I went m.p.p.s but now go to elmrise cus i moved i think this website is brill i miss this school a lot lots of love Jessica H.

I went to mp 20 years ago and still remember it fondly! I remember learning to read with Mrs Nixon, making cider with Mrs Penny, the nativity plays in the hall.. so many memories ! its great to see photos and how much the school has changed since i was small, and its nice to know that children are still so enthusiastic about their school! When you celebrated your 100th anniversary we sent you some photos from when we (my sister sophie, brother andrew and myself were there - ranging from 1975-1985) - hope they came in handy !
i now live in france and when i have children of my own, i hope i can find a school as good as mp for them!

Hi! I attended this school in 1996 for only 6 months. I think I was in year 3 (maybe). My respected class teacher was Mr David Blakeley. I still remember he asked a question on electricity for days in the class but none of us could answer it. Had a great moment with you and congratulations for being the headteacher, Mr David Blakeley! Hi, I used to go to this school and I think I had the best start in life coming here and now I am 13 and I go to avonbourne! I must come in and say hi to my old teachers sometime seeing as I only live nearby. My fave teachers were: Mrs Hopper,Mr West,Mr Woodward,Mrs Sibeth. Hi, I left Malmesbury Park school in 1989 and was in Mr Blakeley's class in my last year. I am now on the verge of graduating from Exeter uni with a BAed in primary teaching! It is nice to be able to look back at my first primary school and see how it has changed!
